  • The structure separates assets. Not only does each Series hold its own asset, thus conferring the liability benefits discussed above, but each is legally separate from the other. Creating additional Series is simple, making the one asset per LLC strategy easy for the real estate investor. The structure also separates assets from you personally.
  • In the event of a judgment against one Series, your other assets are safe. If the worst-case scenario of a judgment against one of your Series’ occurs, you don’t have to worry about the other assets in your Series LLC structure. They are protected by the fact that they are legally separate entities.
